Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions govern your access and use of the Website/Platform provided by beforeStores and any of its Subsidiaries, Affiliates, Brands and entities that it controls. Please read these terms carefully before accessing the website.
By using our platform, you accept these terms and conditions in full and without reservation. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use the website.
You must be at least 18 [eighteen] years of age to use the website. By using the website and by agreeing to these terms and conditions, you warrant and represent that you are at least 18 years of age.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
To register for a beforeStores online Account you will be asked to provide an email address and create a password. You must be over the age of 18 years of age to have a beforeStores Account and only one Account is permitted, per person.
We have the right to close your Account with immediate effect, if we feel that you are acting inappropriately, being abusive, discriminate, in sighting hatred or looking to profit in any way, by using the platform. If your Account is closed as a result of misuse, all points within your TREASURY will be removed and the Account will be deactivated.
Earn Your Stripes
We may add Green chevrons to your Profile picture on a discretionary basis dependent on your interactivity within the platform, across Social Media or your engagement with the Brands represented. Our decision to award or remove Stripes from a customers profile picture cannot be influenced or challenged by you or any other party.
Access to our FRONT ROW section is by invitation only.
Please note that numbers are extremely limited. Making an application to join FRONT ROW does not constitute with acceptance into the programme. Any rewards gained through participation within a FRONT ROW event, can only be credited to your own TREASURY account.
As a FRONT ROW member, you may have the option to communicate, advise and interact with our Branded partners, using beforeStores as an intermediary. This may be under a separate agreement which will be arranged personally through a member of the beforeStores team.
The TREASURY is customer reward programme.
This a FREE to join programme (without any obligation) and applies to all users that have either created a beforeStores Account or have been approved onto FRONT ROW.
You can use points from your TREASURY towards purchases or services.
100 points = 1 GBP.
Points can be either awarded for activity on the platform or issued as a reward from beforeStores directly or indirectly on behalf of the Brands.
If a transaction on which points have been used, is cancelled, reversed or not completed by beforeStores or the Brand, we will credit the points back into your TREASURY (equally divided pro-rata to the amount of items, if multiple items were purchased at the same time).
Any points accrued cannot be redeemed for a cash equivalent or hold any value outside of the platform, they are not transferable between Account holders and points are not subject to an expiry date.
We provide customer services free of charge. We have a legitimate interest in delivering the best online experience for our customers as possible. Our operators are ONLY there to assist you with queries related to beforeStores.
Any abusive or inappropriate conversations will result in a customer warning. If this behaviour continues the customer will blocked from LIVE Chat, there will be NO right to appeal and a copy of the transcript may be forwarded to the authorities.
Our Customer Services Team will try and answer any of your queries in real time whenever possible. Please note however, this is not a 24hr service and during busy periods, you may have to leave us a message. We shall get back to you as quickly as possible by chat or by return email.
Each product you see on the beforeStores platform will ONLY be available for a limited amount of time, this is called a Campaign. You can Pre-Order products during this timeframe. Once the campaign is closed, you cannot place any orders for that product with us or directly with the Brand. You have the option to either pay the amount in full or a part payment of 50% of the RRP with the remaining balance to paid before the product is dispatched.
Once the Campaign closes, you can pay the balance of your payment. We shall notify you by email and you can make this payment within the Product Path section of the website. Failure to pay a balance amount before the deadline date will result in the order being cancelled and a refund will be issued along with any pro-rata Treasury points used. On receipt of the full payment beforeStores will submit your order requirements to the Brand and on completion of their manufacture/delivery, they will be dispatch to you.
Your obligation to pay amounts due under your contract with beforeStores is satisfied when we collect full or part payment from you.
The contract is then formed between you and beforeStores. The items you have ordered at the time will be sent directly from the Brands within the timescales as set out in the Campaign Terms.
Changes to our Campaigns or Prices
Prices for products within active campaigns maybe subject to change without notice. Please don’t worry, if there’s a price increase you will not be charged the higher price, you will pay the price you paid when you placed your order.
We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue a product campaign (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuation of a product campaign.
Placing a Pre-Order
After you have placed a Pre-Order on beforeStores, you will receive an email confirming your order. An order summary will also be shown in the ‘Product Path’ section of the website fiving you an overview of the products you have pre-ordered.
The Product Path will update you on your products delivery schedules. This order summary does not mean that beforeStores has accepted your order if a part payment or full payment has been made, just that you have reserved the item.
We shall notify the Brand of your intention and commitment to buy the item/s selected. It’s worth noting that in some cases the Brands will either source raw materials or start the production process of that particular item on your behalf. During this period we will clarify that the price you have paid matches that on the Website, we always try to make sure all images and details of the products appearing on the Website are accurate at the time you place your order.
We shall notify you by email if there are any potential problems with the payment details you provided to us. We shall inform you if you have not passed anti-fraud, credit or security checks.
We also retain the right not to process an order at any part of the process, if we feel that you have not adhered to our Terms and Conditions.
If you have paid the 50% deposit amount, we shall need you to pay the remaining balance payment before the order can be passed over to the Brand. You can make your payment via the Product Path page. This information will become available once the Campaign has closed. This payment will be required before the Brand can dispatch the goods and you will be notified by email that this final balance amount is outstanding.
If we cannot accept your balance payment for any other reason and your payment was legitimately made, we shall refund any payments that have been made, back to the card/payment gateway used for the original transaction.
Pay NOW Option
You have the option to pay the full amount when you place your order, to simplify the whole purchasing process, if that’s preferred. There may also be some styles that are totally ‘unique/one of a kind’ and can only be purchased on a pay NOW basis. Using this option, really does simplify things for us and our Branded partners.
The Brand will dispatch the goods directly to you on our behalf. Our Customer service team or our Brand partners will email you with an update on your delivery and supply you with a tracking number.
Full details regarding specific information relating to Shipping or Delivery of your purchase is available in the Campaign Terms on the Product page. Please refer to them before placing your order with us.
Getting your Delivery, beforeStores
If you have paid for the goods before the anticipated delivery date as stated in the Campaign Terms, you should receive your order before that product has been distributed or made available through the Brands other Retail or On-line channels.
If you believe that you did not receive your items before the stores, please email hello@beforeStores.com with more information and we shall investigate further.
beforeStores cannot be held responsible for any issues that may arise from a third party shipping company, logistical issues, incorrect deliveries, or un foreseen time delays that may effect the arrival of your goods.
Obviously, we would hope you are delighted with your order. If you have changed your mind, you can cancel your order or return the goods.
- At any time after your payment has been made, before the goods have been dispatched.
- At any time during the 14 calendar days from the day after the date on which the products were delivered to you.

On receipt of your communication, we shall issue you with a reference number by email. This reference number only relates to this specific Cancellation or Return.
Your order will be cancelled at the time we receive your Cancellation request (within the 14 day period) and the refund will be issued, unless the goods are already in transit to you.
Once you have received the goods, you’ll need to return the products back to the Brand within 14 calendar days of your order cancellation. beforeStores or our Branded partners will provide you with emailed instructions regarding how to return the product.
If you cancel because you’ve changed your mind, we will refund the price paid for the item and re-credit your TREASURY (equally divided pro-rata to the amount of items, if multiple items were purchased at the same time), once the Brand has confirmed receipt of the goods.
Please make sure you return the product unused and unworn, in the same condition you received it, as well as all the packaging and included accessories. If you receive the product in an unsatisfactory state, please contact us immediately by email, enclosing photographs and any relevant supporting documentation. When returning goods back to the Brand, do not include any other items in the returning package or items that do not belong to the Brand.
All returning items must be sent back to the Brands.
beforeStores will not accept any deliveries on behalf of the Brands and any attempt to do so, will be declined.
Any returns, exchanges or order cancellations must be made through beforeStores in the first instance and we shall instruct you of the procedure that we have in place.
Our Brands have their own returns policy, some offer free returns and some charge for returns. This information is clearly located in the Campaign Terms on the Brands’ main page. Acknowledgement that you have agreed to those specific terms would have been made, when you placed the order.
You’ll usually receive your refund within 14 days of the Brand receiving the product back from you, or within 14 days of your cancellation notice if the Brand hasn’t dispatched the products.
You cannot transfer full or part payment to another item on the platform. We cannot issue you with a Credit notes for any funds held as a part or full payment.
beforeStores will reduce your refund if you’ve changed your mind and do not manage to meet the return requirements above. The Brands will submit a written report, if the returned item is considered to have been used more than it would have been in a shop whilst deciding whether to purchase the item or if it’s no longer in a resalable condition.
If a Product is faulty
Our Brands may offer you an extended warranty. If so, this information will be found in the Campaign Terms on their Brand page. If a product you have ordered from beforeStores unfortunately develops a fault within 30 days of delivery of the product/service, incorrectly described on the platform or not of satisfactory quality, you have a right to a refund from beforeStores for the amount that you have paid.
Once the Brand has received the product from you, they will test it and provide us with a written assessment. There will be NO cost to you for returning a faulty item back to the Brand. We will refund the price of the faulty product and credit any TREASURY points used (equally divided pro-rata to the amount of items, if multiple items were purchased at the same time), once the Brand has confirmed receipt of the goods and acknowledged the fault.
You can also request an exchange, which we will organise on your behalf with the Brand. However, this scenario is subject to availability and any postage or the wavering of costs will be explained in the Campaign Terms. If an exchange is not possible for whatever reason and you made your request within the 30 day period from delivery, we will refund the price paid for the item and re-credit your TREASURY (pro-rata, as previously mentioned).
To return a faulty product back to the Brand by emailing hello@beforeStores.com or by clicking this Returns link and complete the form. Once we’ve heard from you, we’ll send you instructions on how to return the product.
What can’t be returned
We trust and respect your opinion, but products with problems caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear can’t be returned and won’t be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty supplied by our Brands. We shall explain if there are any specific items that cannot be returned in the Campaign Terms such Underwear, Earrings, etc. If you return something back to the Brand which isn’t actually faulty, the product will be returned to you at your expense.
Taxes and import duties
Whenever possible our Brands will include Taxes and import duties into the RRP. If you order products from beforeStores for delivery to certain Countries, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes. beforeStores doesn’t have any control over these charges, and you will need to pay them in order to receive your order. If you have any queries on this particular subject, please contact us before placing your order.
We will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or legal requirements
To determine the appropriate retention period for the personal information we hold, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the personal information, the risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal information, the reasons why we handle your personal information and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.
In some circumstances (to understand purchasing trends and how people interact with our website) we may anonymise your personal data so that it can no longer be associated with you for sale, research or statistical purposes, in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.
At beforeStores would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights.
We will retain your shopping history and use details of the products you have previously purchased to make suggestions to you for other products which we believe you will also be interested in
We will retain and evaluate information on your recent visits to our website and how you move around different sections of our website for analytics purposes to understand how people use our website so that we can make it more intuitive and give you a better shopping experience
We will keep a record of the articles on our website that you have clicked on and use that information to match you with Brands or other items on this website, that we feel may be relevant to your interests or preferences.
In order that deliveries can be dispatched correctly, we ONLY share the following information with the Brands, that you have purchased goods from previously.

- Your postal address.
- Your contact telephone number..
Every user on the platform is entitled to the following:
The right to access - You have the right to request copies of your personal data or records of information supplied to beforeStores or our Branded partners. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
The right to rectification - You have the right to request that beforeStores or our Branded partners corrects any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request beforeStores or our Branded partners to complete information you believe is incomplete.
The right to erasure - You have the right to request that beforeStores or our Branded partners erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to restrict processing - You have the right to request that beforeStores or our Branded partners restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to object to processing - You have the right to object to beforeStores of our Branded partners processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to data portability - You have the right to request that beforeStores or our Branded partners transfer the data that we have collected to another organisation, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
You also have the right to unsubscribe from our Newsletter, FRONT ROW, the TREASURY or cancel your beforeStores Account at any point in time.

The Legal bit
Statutory rights. You will always have statutory rights in relation to products/services that are faulty, damaged, or not as described. Your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms.
If beforeStores break these Terms, we are responsible for the proportion of loss or damage you suffered that happened as a foreseeable result of our actions, or because we failed to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not “foreseeable”. By “foreseeable”, we mean either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the contract was made, we both knew it might happen.
We don’t exclude or limit our liability to you if it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by beforeStores negligence, fraud, or breach of your consumer rights.
Products are for domestic and private use only. We won’t have liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of earnings, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
These Terms are governed by English law and you can bring legal proceedings in the English courts. If you live in Scotland you can bring legal proceedings in either the Scottish or the English courts. If you live in Northern Ireland you can bring legal proceedings in either the Northern Irish or the English courts.

Complaints handling - If you are not happy with how beforeStores has handled any complaint, you may want to submit the dispute to the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform, for online resolution by an independent body.
As beforeStores grows and improves, we might have to make changes to these Terms. We will do this by uploading the latest version with a date confirming when they went live. The new Terms will not affect any orders placed prior to the go live date, but will apply to future orders.
